Certificate in Phlebotomy Technician एक व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम है, जिसे विद्यार्थियों को रक्त संग्रह (Blood Collection) एवं प्रयोगशाला नमूना प्रबंधन (Sample Handling) से संबंधित आवश्यक ज्ञान और व्यावहारिक कौशल प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से तैयार किया गया है। इस कोर्स में रक्त लेने की सही तकनीक (Venipuncture), सैंपल कलेक्शन, रक्त परीक्षण के लिए नमूनों का सुरक्षित संग्रह एवं संरक्षण, प्रयोगशाला सुरक्षा, संक्रमण नियंत्रण तथा मरीजों की देखभाल से संबंधित प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है। विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न प्रकार के रक्त परीक्षणों, वैक्यूटेनर (Vacutainer) सिस्टम, सुई एवं अन्य उपकरणों के उपयोग तथा नमूनों की सही लेबलिंग और परिवहन की जानकारी भी प्रदान की जाती है।
